So, it’s been a while. We spent the weekend in Dinuba, CA. Where on earth is Dinuba? I hear you ask. Well it’s in California 😉 about 20 minutes south of Fresno. Why on earth would you go to Dinuba?? (several people have asked) Well, some good friends of Sean’s parents got wind of our need, and asked their church to support us. So, without even meeting us, they put us on the budget!! Yay God!! So, we went down to visit them, and spend time with the church. It was great. Sean preached on Sunday morning, and we met a young couple who are also interested in missions. So we had dinner with them and shared stories.
The plan was to leave first thing Monday morning, but there was a gun man on the highway we needed to take, and the road was closed. So Sean played computer geek and helped Diane with a project she’s working on. We left around noon.

Okay, so now we’e in Manteca! We’re staying with Laura and Bill, and their tribe – or circus as Laura describes it. None of the kids remember us, but we are slowly getting to know them again. Jodie and Daniel immediately took a shine to Sean, and they were running all over the house, jumping on furniture and generally acting like kids. I became Daniel’s ‘refuge’ (when I wasn’t also chasing him), and helped him chase the big monster that is Sean.

Tommorrow is first day of sping break (the new political correct way of saying “Good Friday), so the kids are off school, and we’re all going to Yosemite. I’m really looking forward to it. It’s been a long time since I’ve been up there, and I always love getting out of suburbia and into God’s creation. The things He builds are always so much more spectacular than what man builds.
