Welcome to my Little Corner of the Cloud. It’s good to see you!
It’s the Moms Of Boys Blog Hop (hosted by MOB Society).
I’m Anne. My husband, Sean, and I are missionaries in Thailand, and these are the Chronicles of my life here. (for more, read This Is Me)
“What’s it all about?”, I hear you ask.
Well, it’s…
A little bit of fun with the kids.
A place for reflection on God’s word.
My Rant Platform.
A meeting place for family and friends.
I have two gorgeous kids. One Girl and One Boy.
Timothy is 2 years old. He’s sweet and kind, very thoughtful and careful, mostly obedient. He loves to sing and dance. He’s obsessed with his ‘Zoom’ (airplane) and his Train. He loves the book ‘Arthur On The Farm’ – he calls it the ‘piggy book’, and it must be read every night. His favourite DVD’s are Thomas the Tank Engine and Little Einsteins. Timothy has been on 4 round trip international flights across the Pacific and Indian Oceans, plus countless domestic flights on 3 continents. He’s a great little traveler.
So, we have lived in Thailand for the last 11 years. I love it here. We travel a lot, but whenever I return to Chiang Mai, I always breathe a sigh of relief. “Ah. We’re home.” We work with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) as Church Planters, with Teams, with Villages and with Orphanages. Our ministry is very diverse. Currently, my husband is writing a fiction series called Missionary Kid Adventures, based in part on his experience as a Missionary Kid here in Thailand. The first book should be published by Winter 2011. Follow me, and I’ll let you know when it’s released.
If you’re an avid reader, I highly recommend Walking Miracle by Art Sanborn (my father in law). You can purchase it on our website or at Amazon.com. Walking Miracle begins with Art breaking his neck in Hawaii. All seems lost. Art remembers his years of Missionary service, the miracles he saw, the God he encountered in the jungles of Thailand, and the incredible effect that it had on himself and his family. In the final chapter, Art returns to the doctors office, just one year after he has been declared a quadriplegic, and proves that God still works miracles.
We’ll be in the USA in the Fall. Sean and Art are planning speaking engagements in several cities, so if you are interested in hearing them speak on Missions and God’s Kingdom, please let me know in the comments.
Looking forward to getting to know you…

He's a cutie!! I thank God for missionaries around the world to spread the Gospel. I know you have some great adventures in Thailand. Take care and thanks for joining in the M.O.B. society blog hop.
I'm visiting from the Blog Hop! My sister-in-law has spent the past two summers serving at an orphanage in Thailand and actually helped connect my other BIL and SIL with their now 16 month old angel! Blessings on you as you serve and share His love! Will be praying for you and your family!

Hi Anne! I am visiting from the Blog Hop as well. I think it is great when missionaries follow that call to serve in other countries. Thank you for that! What a cute boy you have as well. Have a blessed day!
You wouldn't happen to be in Kansas on your journey in the States, would you? Your husband's book series sounds amazing; that would touch so many hearts of missionary kids!

Thank you to all the MOB Society Mums who dropped by for a visit. Looking forward to getting to know you better. Anne
I don't know if my wife ever replied to your question. If not, sorry about the delay. Here is a link to Chapter 1 (Although I have made some edits since then) http://sanborns.org/word_press/?page_id=51Â I am nearly done writing but I'm not quite sure how long the editing and publishing process will be. I really want to have a book for Christian kids that deals with the supernatural that can compete with what the secular world is offering.
