I just got this ad in my inbox. In light of my study of The Great Commission and The Mission of the Church (which I touched on in my post The Great Commission), it made me choke. Exactly the opposite of what I think the church needs to do.

And what is Church Relationship Management? Are we so focused on numbers that we can’t just see people as people? Are the churches programs really that important? Do numbers really matter?
The Church is not a corporation that needs to Manage it’s Relationships. It’s a dynamic, living organism! It’s The Body of Christ. It is People. Lives transformed, healed and set free.
Jesus is about People, people!
