The Challenge: Find a reason to celebrate and do something to celebrate it.
I have decided to celebrate the word “SO”. I use this word alot in my blog, and I really like the word. I think it’s a very versatile word, and should be celebrated. Part of the reason I use it so much is because I am bilingual, and in Thai there is a word very similar to the word ‘so’. It is the word ‘ko’ (the k is pronounced as a g, the vowel is a “aw” sound, as in ‘raw’ and it has a falling tone). You can use this word in just about any context and situation. When you’re nervous, when you don’t know what to say, when need a connector between thoughts, when you really don’t want to give info to someone, etc. And that’s what I’ve begun to do with the word ‘so’.
So, today, it’s all about the word ‘so’. That little word that can express so much and so little at the same time. I’ll say it so DH goes crazy, and I might even bake it a cake.
So, till next time, have a so-so day.

I use so quite a bit myself. I like to start a sentence that way and I find it makes things funny somehow. Well, to me anyway. So you have two brotherinlaws named David then? (that wasn’t meant to be funny. Just an observation.
Yes, I am blessed with 2 BIL’s named David. It makes for lots of fun and confusion. I have to specify which one I’m talking about, and have various methods to do so, which I will not go into now.
Oh Oh, like,… David with the eyes, no wait that probably works for both um I guess that goes the same for “the one with the head”
geez, harder than I thought
The person who gets most confused is Sean, because now that we are living close to my sister, I keep forgetting to use the age old terms that I’ve used since the beginning of time to differentiate between David and David.
Oh, I just had a brain wave – I would call my sister’s husband “Tower of David”. Refer to your blog for more clues….
