My blog seems to be getting a little boring, so I decided to add a little something to make it more interesting….. 2. I hope to live in Thailand till a ripe old age, die a natural death and be buried there. 3. I've been married for 10 years to the most amazing man in the universe. I know that this fact will be disputed by some women who think that their husband holds that title, but it is the truth (deal with it). 4. I have longed for Children ever since I got married. Not before that, cause I though I was gonna be an old maid missionary. 5. After 8 years of Infertility, I got pregnant with our first child. We lost Peter to early miscarriage, and didn't think we'd be able to have kids after that. 6. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant with our second child. I'm so happy for our miracle baby, that we affectionately call our "Little Jelly Bean". 7. I would not have survived the last few years without the help and support of my precious friends at Hannah's Prayer. Thank you for helping me to stay sane during the grief and madness of Infertility. 8. I love Jesus!! He has been my Rock since I was 10 years ald. He has carried me through the fire many times - even when I was so mad I wanted to reject Him and His love. 9. I prefer honesty and truth over politeness and 'good manners'. Travelling and living overseas (particularly America) has taught me that sometimes I need to sugar coat stuff for other peoples sake, and sometimes for my own sake (so I don't get crucified). It drives me crazy, and as I get older, I actually get more inclined to return to the ways of my youth, and just tell it like it is. 10. I was called into Missions when I was 15 years old, went on my first mission trip when I was 17 to China and Philippines, and finally became a full time Missionary when I was 27. 11. I slept on the Great Wall of China when I was on my first mission trip to China. 12. I have travelled to 13 countries in my life. The only continent I haven't visited is Africa. 13. Before I die I want to go on an African Safari, take a train from Beijing to Moscow, take a boat down the Amazon, trek to Macu Picu, visit the Himalayas and a whole lot of other really cool stuff.

Anne, thanks for your touching comment on my blog! I’m sooo happy for you with your pregnancy! I have a friend that has struggled with infertility, has adopted a little boy from Guatemala and is currently trying to conceive again. Though I’ve chosen not to have children myself, I do consider them a wonderful blessing and rejoice with those who have them.
I am very happy to have come across your blog as I am a missionary kid and grew up in Bangladesh and Kenya. We vacationed in Thailand when I was a child and I have fond memories of Bangkok as well as a beach that we went to. I understand the whole identity thing and culture adjustment etc. I love the life that I’ve lived, travelling all over the place.
Very nice to “meet” you!
Sounds like you live an exciting life. I pray that all goes well with this pregnancy.
that was a great post! Thanks
Awesome list and Congratulations on your pregnancy! Thanks for visiting my TT. :O)
Sounds wonderful. Having dealt with the heartbreak of infertility and loss I can feel your pain. May this pregnancy be uneventful, and may your babe be the greatest blessing of your life. God does, afterall, keep his promises.

Girls, I’ll be taking resumes for the position of Nanny soon. My requirements are very stingent. I’m not sure if you’ll be able to measure up… I might just turn out to be one of ‘those’ mums.
;-P
This is a great list. Good luck and God’s blessings with this new baby. I wish you the best. Take care and you will be in my prayers for a healthy baby.
My daughter went to Thailand with her Army reserve unit, and she loved it there. She wants to go back next year for the Cobra Gold again.
