Thirteen Things I like to Eat:
1. Tim Tams – a delicious Aussie chocolate biscuit, that take you to the heights of ecstasy with every bite. Find out more at Wikipedia. You haven’t lived until you’ve had one. Oh, and these are NOT cookies! They are called biscuits.
2. Chocolate – I eat this more often than Tim Tams, cause Tim Tams are a delicacy that should be enjoyed on special occasions, but Chocolate is just a really good every day pick me up.
3. Thai Food! See TT#2 for more details.
4. Lasagne. I think that I am part Garfield. There’s this Italian Restaurant in Chiang Mai called Babylon. They have the best Spinach Lasagne in the world (aside from the amazing Lasagne Sean makes). Each time I go to Babylon, I plan to order something new, but the Lasagne always gets the best of me.
5. Mac ‘n’ Cheese… This has been my salvation in the midst of morning sickness. When I just can’t get anything else to go down and stay down, Mac ‘n’ Cheese has kept me and Little JB in good health. Well, sustained at the very least.
6. Cheesy Melts. YUM! Toast a slice of bread, add some chicken or ham, maybe some tomato or avocado, and top with cheese. Grill. Perfection.
7. Raman Noodles. Quick, easy, empty carbs. Hand the pack to Sean, and you can end up with a gourmet meal. Tasty.
8. Fresh Aussie Yogurt. with fresh passionfruit or mango. Okay, now I’m just making myself hungry. Not much into the packaged varieties, so I spoil myself while I’m in Australia. The best yogurt in the world.
9. Apples. I have an apple addiction. But they must be cut up into quarters. I don’t like eating them whole. I think it’s the texture.
10. Indian food. Can’t eat it right now, but love those japatis and naans and curries.
11. Falafals & Yiros. Oh so good and tasty. There are some really good shops around here, and I have them about once a week.
12. Apple Pie and Ice Cream. We had some last night, and I remembered how good it really is.
13. Pancakes. My sister makes great pancakes. I try to copy her, but she has a gift and alas, I do not.

Yum! Making me hungry! I love Indian food. And falafels are great too! We had a restaurant in one of the malls in Nairobi that made the falafel right there in front of you and you picked what items you wanted in it. Mmm!

Raman noodles rock especially when you are on a budget. I prefer them without so much water
I love chocolate, and I could go for some of your sister’s pancakes right now. π
Thanks for visiting my TT.
You actually made me hungry at this time of the night π
Mac n cheese! Yummy!
Happy Thursday!
Yum, you’re making me hungry! LOL! Thanks for visiting. I hope this info helps, it’s in reply to your comment on my T13 about home birth:
Make sure to ask your OB if he/she will let you write a birth plan that you want to stick to as best as you can. A birth plan will help whoever has to deliver your baby make decisions based on your desires, not on their convenience. Make sure you have a coach that can and will stand up for what you plan too. This should be the father of the baby, since the child is his, and he can have legal sway in the decision-making. I hope your midwife will at least be there too, because they are great advocates, even if they cannot legally do anything. They can help encourage you, and be one more person on YOUR team. :o) God bless!
You have a penchance for apples and chocolate, but what about caramel apples or chocolate covered apples?
Thanks for visiting my blog!
By the way – I think there is something to what you’ve said about pregnancy…the times I’ve felt the craziest and most scatterbrained is always when I’ve been pregnant! π
