Sean got home two days ago – we both breathed a sigh of relief to be together again. Due to jet lag, he went to bed around 7pm and woke at 3am. What do you do when you have jetlag and wake up in the middle of the night??? Why, you rearrange your house and put up the Christmas tree!! I woke at 8am to find our tree ready to be trimmed. It was a real nice treat to find the hard work done. He repeated the performance last night, even fixing a door that I broke just before I went to bed. This man is amazing. Maybe I married a ‘handyman vampire’…

It’s funny, for the last week, all our friends have been very nice and given Mum and I lots of space and time to rest and relax. I have really needed to rest, cause I have exited the green, pukey phase of pregnancy and entered the falling asleep in the middle of sentences phase of pregancy. But as soon as Sean arrived home, the house was full of visitors non-stop and the phone just kept ringing. We even had to do some business with our landlord. Hmm, either a pregnant woman is more important (ie. in need of more rest & privacy) than a poor jetlagged man, who has just travelled 3 continents in a week, OR people like Sean more than they like me and want to see him more… I think for my own sanity I will go with option #1. And if you know better, please don’t tell me, cause ignorance is bliss.
