Sean’s cousins, Corbett and Grace, are in town for a couple of weeks, along with Ellen (Sean’s Mom), so they are off to a Karen village way up in the mountains for about 4 days. It’s about a 4 hour drive on winding roads. While they are there, they’ll be teaching English & Music in the local school, digging holes and chopping down trees, and rough-housing with the local kids that live in the dormitory. And I am left here all on my lonesome. I don’t even have a dog to keep me company, cause our precious Rusty is at the vet.

I tried to do some very important baby shopping today, but was so exhausted just from the driving that my brain refused to work. I’m standing there in the shop, looking at outfits and blankets and other things baby, and the brain would not compute the data. So, I just wandered aimless to the grocery store to buy a few odds and ends. Again, brain no work. I was amazed I made it home safely and found my way into the bedroom. I feel very lazy, but there are just days where I can’t push myself anymore. The body and the brain just shut down and say, No, we need to rest. I just wish it would tell me before I make it to the Market and not while I’m standing there with a blank look on my face trying to figure out what on earth I’m looking at…
