So, Sean has been at this conference all week, super busy, networking with lots of great people – meeting old friends and making new ones. I didn’t register, cause I get so fidgety and sleepy these days sitting in long meetings. But there were a couple of sessions I wish I could have been part of, cause they sounded just awesome….

Anyway, because Sean is an MK, he always manages to gravitate towards other MK’s and make sure they are having fun. Well, the concensus was that the Teen MK’s were BORED OUT of their MINDS! So, Super Sean to the rescue!!! On Tuesday he took a group of them to a local water fall for a swim – in the freezing water – and them brought them back to our house to play Playstation. Word got around pretty quick to the kids and their parents that there was alternate activity, so Sean planned a real adventure for Thursday. (Tuesday and Thursday were the only days when their wasn’t an afternoon session).

We loaded 13 people (11 kids + us) into our truck and we were off. First the group biked about 3 miles to a lake, and then it was time for the real fun to begin. Paint Ball and ATV adventure. Not at the same time though. They played paint ball for about an hour, and of course the loudest voice among the pack was Sean’s. Or maybe it’s just that I’m better tuned to his frequency. After the Paintball Battle was over, the kids enthusiastically ran and jumped on their ATVs (All Tarrain Vehicles) and were off! After all the fun was over, we discovered one girl had had an accident – she hit the throttle too hard, panicked, breaked too hard and went flying over the front of her ATV into a ditch… I was very impressed with her – she got right back on, and finished the course twice. Thankfully there were no injuries. My 29 week pregnant belly and I couldn’t join in…. boo hoo.
