I’ve been too busy enjoying my daughter to be bothered blogging. Why would I want to spend time sitting at the computer, when I can get down on the floor and play with the most amazing little girl to ever invade me life???

Samantha is now 10 months old, and she continues to steal my heart. Every little thing she does is amazing. For instance, just 2 days ago she figured out how to get down the step into our kitchen. Yay! Another lesson learned, another ‘milestone’ accomplished. It only just occurred to me this afternoon, as she explored this new world that it means more work for me. I now have to be even more aware and alert, and I have to finish the baby proofing….

At this point Samantha has alot to say, but we can’t understand a word of it. She spends most of the day saying, “Day day day day day” and “Bub bub bub”. ‘Day’ means Daddy. Bub means ??? Occasionally I hear “mama” or “mum mum mum”. But she uses ‘Day day’ incessantly. At least I thought so. Recently I have been spending alot of time at the physical therapist, so Sean and others take Sam while I’m there. While I’m gone, she says “Mum mum mum” all the time. We’ve figured out that if I’m with her, she talks about Daddy. If Daddy or some one else is with her, she talks about me. Pretty cool.
