Crystal gave me an “Arte Y Pico” web award. My very first award. Thank you, Crystal! What an honour.

Here’s what she said:
“The Sanborn Chronicles is another blog of missionary friends. They are another family I am blessed to know. Anne and Sean went to the same church as Kevin and I once in CA, and also I know them from other friends at my old college. Anne is a kind soul who has honest and loving reflective posts. She and Sean struggled with infertility related to PCOS and so this has been another bond between Anne and I. Their struggle to conceive has had it’s heartaches. They have a young daughter named Samantha, who’s conception is a true miracle. Their blog blesses me as they share their love for the true Lord, their love for Thailand, and their love for their daughter who they waited so faithfully on the Lord to bless them with. She is a beautiful child, all their posts have such neat family pictures, and since they are missionaries to Thailand, they aren’t your average photos sometimes. I think my favorites are their elephant ride photos!”

There are some rules associated with the award, and sharing about it, so here are the rules;

Here are my picks:

1. Adventures in Juggling. Laura and I have been friends for many years. Adventures in Juggling is just fun. I love the candid manner Laura talks about her family, work, love, and life. She’s Honest and Sassy. Thoughtful and Funny.
2. Shouting in My Sleep Again. Jennifer is a Gem. I love this young lady. I first met her in CA when she was a teenager. She’s grown into an amazing woman of God! Her blog reflects her passion for Jesus and her love for the people in her life. Her friendship with her sister is so precious. I’m privileged to know her, and that she lives in the same town as me in Thailand!! Yay!
3. Project Musekee I only met Joanna a little over a month ago. This young lady really impresses me. She’s a go getter – when she is passionate about something, she doesn’t let anything stand in her way. Last year she came to Thailand for the first time on her DTS outreach, and Sean took the team to a village called Musekee. Joanna was touched by the story of Siami and the Karen Villagers of Musekee. So she decided to write a book to tell their story. This blog is Joanna’s account of her journey.
4. Issac Samuel, ^Rachel Grace^, and Abigail Hope This is the story of Sonia’s family – their struggle to conceive, their joys, their losses, and their renewed hope. I first met Sonia through Hannah’s Prayer after I lost my first son, Peter. I love Sonia so much. Her story has touched my life. Her strength and faith in the midst of adversity challenges me to keep my eyes fixed on the One who is My Hope, Jesus.
