Outside my window… another glorious day. The weather has finally cooled off by 2 or 3 degrees, a big difference in the tropical heat.

I’m thinking… about all the things that need to be done in the next 2 weeks. We leave for California Sept 19. What’s it gonna be like? How is Samantha gonna handle another change? Where will she go while we’re in ‘classes’?? And, Oh my goodness! In just 3 weeks we won’t have any grandparents around to help us with the kids!

From the school room… Samantha started a new school, and didn’t take to it very well. She’s doing great while there, but doesn’t like going. When she first started school, she was so excited. But recently, she really doesn’t like being away from Mummy and Daddy. I’m seriously thinking of keeping her home once we get back from California.

I’m thankful… for my amazing children. They are everything I had prayed and hoped for. I asked for a precocious little girl, and I got her. I asked for a quiet, easy going little boy, and I got him. My kids have brought a new level of joy and happiness into my life.

I am reading… lots of different articles on the internet.

I am hearing… silence. not very common in this household.

Around the house… laundry: check. dishes: check. beds made: check. Now I can just sit back and enjoy the quiet.

One of my favorite things… Timothy’s giggles and smiles.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week … Finalizing our Info packets for the Mission Conference this weekend. And a trial packing to see how much stuff we can take to California.
