Outside my window… a slight breeze in the trees. a child runs past the window, laughing and playing.

I’m thinking… alot about the phenomenon of ‘husband bashing’. It’s a common social ‘ice breaker’ that women use to get to know each other. They sit around and belly ache about all the things their man does that they drive them crazy. It’s acceptable in all areas of society, popularized by the media. Men are bad, Women are good. And it’s our job as women to help the Male Human figure out he’s broken and needs to be fixed. Well, I hate it. I have very poor ‘husband bashing’ skills. I think I need write a blog entry dedicated to this subject….

From the school room… the teachers are impressed with Samantha’s abilities and intelligence. I’m very proud to have a smart kid. Now If I can just keep up with her.

I’m thankful for… my husband. He’s playing with Timothy so I can have computer time.

I’m reading… “I have to be perfect, and other parsonage heresies” by Timothy L. Sanford. I’ve only read the into, but it’s very interesting. An awesome book for Pastor’s Kids and Missionary Kids. Sean and I would love to meet the guy and pick his brain.

I’m hearing… the birds singing, and Timothy laughing at his very silly Daddy.

Around the house… it’s a disaster, a war zone. There’s barely any time to keep it clean between all the demands of the progam we’re in, the needs of the kids and trying to think through all the new info we’re aquiring.

One of my favourite things… wandering around the community we live in, always encountering a friendly face, dropping in on new friend… now all I have to do is bake brownies and have a little tea party with my new girl friends.

Plans for the week… survive this week and move on to the next… and maybe take a detour to the zoo.
