Each night we read a chapter or two from The Jesus Storybook Bible as part of story time. I love this Children’s Bible, because each story reminds us of God’s Awesome Love that He has lavished on us in His Son, Jesus. But this isn’t a review, so I’ll get on with my story…

Two nights ago, I was reading the Chapter called The Singer, based on Matthew 6, 9 and Luke 12. On Page 235 it says:

“Even though people had forgotten (The Song), the birds and the flowers hadn’t forgotten – they still knew their song. It was the song all of God’s creation had sung to Him from the very beginning. It was the song people’s hearts were made to sing: “God made us. He loves us. He is very pleased with us.”

Miss Five asked, “Mummy, what’s the song? How does it goes?”

I answered, “Well, everyone’s song is different, because everyone has a different way to show God they love him and worship him.”

“I wanna hear the song!”

“Okay, I will sing you my song.” And I proceeded to sing one of my songs, Alpha and Omega.

When I was finished, Miss Five said, “Can I sing you my song?”

Then she sang her Song about how God made us and loves us and has given us so many good things. It was a fantastic song.

I think we have another song writer on our hands!

How about you? Do you remember your Song?
