Today was the first official day of the PA DTS here in Tampa. I’m amazed we actually made it through. We are all still suffering jetlag – the kids keep waking up at midnight and wanting to play till 6am. But some how we managed to have leaders meetings, get to know students, teach for a full morning, have more leaders meetings and then be (somewhat) good parents.
We have 17 Students, ranging in age from 17 to 50 something. I think there are about 20 million children between the staff and students (okay, it’s actually 13, but sometimes the noise makes it seem more 😉 ), so we have a preschool/ home school group as well.
The next three months are going to be a grand adventure, getting to know each other, growing closer to God, and discovering gifts, talents and purpose in life.
I’m looking forward to it.
