Our Crazy Team, minus Ju Yearn, Hannah, Gift and The 4 Kids |
April 13 to 18, 2011
Beautiful Chiang Mai. I love it here. I’ve had the chance to sleep in my own bed for a few days. Not that I actually got to sleep, because everytime I got into bed my jetlagged kids decided it was time wake up and play.
It’s been a rough couple of days. Sean and I have be in total survival mode, just trying to get all the business done before we leave town again. I think our team has had lots of fun, celebrating Songkran, aka Thai New Year, aka Nationwide Water Fight. We had hoped to join them, but the 54 hour trip took alot out of us.
So, here we are. We’re moving out of ‘Survival Mode’ into ‘Thriving Mode’. I’ve finally gotten a good rest and a chance to refocus, shifting gears from Jetlagged Mum to Fearless Leader/Fun Loving Mum.
Tomorrow morning (Monday) we leave for Lampang Province, where we’ll spend 3 weeks working with a church planting team in a remote area. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel by train and pick up truck, and as we minister in these village areas.
