It’s the 3rd week of Summer. I get to spend 12 whole weeks with Two Adorable Munchkins.

Oh My Goodness! What am I gonna do?
“Only 9 weeks to go….”, says the Wanna Be Homeschool Mum.
Miss Seven has Summer Homeschool, but we haven’t even started. So. Many. (Boring). Worksheets.
Master Five is learning his ABC’s & 123’s from his big sister – that counts as School, right?
Darling Husband is trying to write a Novel.
And I’ve got the Travel Bug. Road Trip! Thailand! Australia! Anywhere but Here!
This week is VBS, and I’m so glad for a few hours down time each morning.
I ask myself, “Do you really have what it takes to be a Homeschool Mum?” I want my kids to have more than school is offering them. I want them to be challenged and to enjoy learning. To have Fun, to Engage the Senses. To be Creative and Active. Not just sit and fill out worksheets.

The Next Nine Weeks are a Test. Will I pass or fail? Will these Adorable Munchkins let me Teach them? Or will they fight the Homeschool Mum all the way? Will I be happy to just hand them back to the Inevitable Boredom of Conventional Schooling?
*facepalm* I don’t think I’ve got what it takes…
